Domingo de Ramos no Vaticano : Papa Leão XIV chama o Mundo à Paz e ao Amor

Leão XIV também exortou os fiéis a reconhecerem os crucificados de hoje, sobretudo para ouvirem com atenção “o gemido de dor de todos aqueles que são oprimidos pela violência e de todas as vítimas da guerra”.

Ao concluir, o Santo Padre evocou as palavras do Servo de Deus Tonino Bello, confiando à Virgem Maria o sofrimento dos povos:

“Santa Maria, mulher do terceiro dia, dá-nos a certeza de que, apesar de tudo, a morte já não terá mais poder sobre nós. Que os dias das injustiças dos povos estão contados. Que os clarões das guerras se estão a reduzir a luzes crepusculares”.

“Que os sofrimentos dos pobres chegaram aos seus últimos suspiros. […] E que, finalmente, as lágrimas de todas as vítimas da violência e da dor em breve secarão, como a geada ao sol da primavera.”
