SAPNewsTL, Tajikistan : Related to the qualifying match AFC Asian Cup 2027 – third round, the National Team of Timor-Leste has held a press conference to inform that Timor-Leste will meet the team of Tajikistan at the Central Stadium of the Republic, on March 25, 2025.
According to information accessed by SAPNews through the official website facebook of the Timor-Leste Football Federation (FFTL), the head coach of the Timor-Leste National Team, Simon Elissetche said the Timor-Leste team will play against three countries such as Tajikistan, the Philippines and the Maldives which are very strong and well qualified in the FIFA rankings.
“In Group A, Timor-Leste is very weak compared to the other three countries. However, the Timor-Leste National Team also resisted to improve preparation and get the opportunity to compete,” said the head coach of the Timor-Leste National Team, Simon Elissetche in Tanikistaun, 24/03/2025
The National Team Coach affirmed that the Timor-Leste team still takes advantage of the opportunity and gives itself to get good results and become competitive in the game against the Tajikistan team and other teams such as the Maldives and the Philippines.
