Trump Witnesses Peace Agreement Between Cambodia & Thailand

SAPNews, Malaysia : Malaysian Prime Minister Ibrahim Anwar declared Malaysia made history as a witness to the Kuala Lumpur Peace Agreement between Cambodia and Thailand.
“As witnessed by me together with the Prime Minister of the President of the Republic of Thailand, Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, Donald J. Trump, and Prime Minister Hun Manet.” Said Malaysian PM Ibrahim Anwar in Kuala Lumpur, 26/10/2025. Cite the page of the Malaysian PM.
The Malaysian head of government said the signing of the peace agreement marked the success of ASEAN diplomacy to promote regional peace and stability, in continuation of the ceasefire signed on July 28 in Putrajaya.
“I appreciate the support of my regional and international friends who support this effort, including President Donald J Trump. It is this role to encourage the leaders of Cambodia and Thailand to reach an agreement and take the bold step of choosing peace.” He stressed
In the presence of President Trump, โI also stressed the need to extend this security agenda to other regions that are still experiencing unrest, especially Gaza, so that the world can once again witness universal justice and humanityโ. He asked
This agreement shows that ASEAN’s voice is now increasingly respected as a bridge to peace, showing how dialogue and moderation can end enduring disputes.
