FIFA World Cup : 42 Shirts, All For One Dream

SAP News TL, Dili : The first poster for the 2026 World Cup, which will be held in the United States, Mexico, and Canada has caused controversy because of the notable absence of an image of Cristiano Ronaldo.

“42 shirts, all for one dream,” reads the post on the FIFA World Cup account in Portuguese on the social network X, along with a poster that includes, among others, Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappé, and Erling Haaland, but not the captain of the national team, referring to Bruno Fernandes Portugal.

Two hours later, a new image was published to announce the countdown to the draw on December 5, and in it the 40-year-old Al Nassr striker is shown as a representative of the Portuguese national team, to the right of the captain of the Argentine national team (center), who has Mbappéruk on his left.
