SAPNewsTL, France: French President Emmanuel Macron appointed popular Education Minister Gabriel Attal as prime minister at the age of 34 on Tuesday, making him official as replacement for Élisabeth Borne, who resigned from the position on Monday.
According to official sources consulted by the French agency AFP, Gabriel Attal was chosen by Macron with the aim of oxygenating his second term, in a year marked by the European elections and the holding of the Olympic Games in Paris.

According to the Facebook channel Renascença reported that French President Emmanuel Macron appointed the until now Minister of Education, Gabriel Attal, to the position of prime minister. With the appointment, Attal becomes the youngest premier in the history of France, at 34 years old.
“Attal is, at 34 years old, the youngest prime minister in French history. But, despite his youth, he was the favorite to take over as head of government, after Élisabeth Borne’s resignation.”
Therefore, this Tuesday, making him official as Élisabeth Borne’s replacement, because the outgoing Prime Minister Élisabeth Borne resigned (Dismissal) from her position on Monday, January 8, 2024.
Meanwhile, the new election for the President of France for the period 2024-2028 will be realise in April 2024.
